Teach the World to Read provides an evidence-based, successful reading program for early readers - Grades 2 & 3.
It is free for Aid Agencies and Charities.
"Fantastic Phonics" has been tested several times, most recently by USAID, in Liberia. In its Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) program (2008-2010), Fantastic Phonics was tested in 700 schools. Based on the extraordinary results gained with the project, the EGRA Plus project was expanded to more than 2000 schools in 2012.

Teach the World to Read was set up 8 years ago with the explicit intention to provide a free reading resource to children in under-privileged communities around the world.
During that time, nearly one million downloads of the material have been made, and it has been distributed to more than 250,000 children in schools in South Africa alone, in Government funded and researched literacy interventions.
If you are a charity, or a school in a developing community , you can register for the free program. Find out how here.
Liberian Outcomes
